Successful studio owners have figured some things out that their less-successful competitors haven’t figured out yet.

I talk with hundreds of dance studio owners every year and there are some very consistent patterns in the way that those that are successful are thinking.

It’s not that they are better teachers (necessarily). It’s not that they have better studio facilities. It’s not that they started out with more money. It’s not the cities that they live in, or the length of time they’ve been in business, or their level of personal confidence or motivation. None of those things are consistent.

As a matter of fact, it’s pretty tough to find things in common from one successful studio owner to another. They come from all walks of life, have different teaching systems and styles, and live in extremely varied locations.

But I’ve done it. I’ve noticed over the last 15 years of working with studio owners, and owning a studio myself, that there are at least three things that almost every successful dance studio owner has in common with the others.

“Successful studio owners have figured some things out that their less-successful competitors haven’t figured out yet.”

They shun some pretty specific myths about their businesses that the not-so-successful studio owners believe, cling to, and use as excuses. Do you still believe these myths?

The 3 Myths

1. My studio’s success is out of my control.

2. I can’t raise my tuition because of the area I teach. (Or, insert any other excuse for low tuition.)

3. Advertising doesn’t work.

If you still believe ANY of these three myths, or if you use any of them as excuses for why you’re not succeeding YOU WILL NEVER SUCCEED. I have never met a single successful studio owner that believes any of those ideas. Not one!

The Good News

The reality is that you ARE in control of your studio’s success. As a matter of fact, you’re probably doing a lot of things right already. You’re probably over-complicating the work you’re doing (most studios are), and we can help you to focus only on the work that gets results.

You can also absolutely raise your tuition. It’s easier than you think, but you want to make sure you do it the right way. I can show you exactly how to demonstrate more value to new prospects so they’ll be happy to pay a premium for your classes. Studios that raise their tuition the right way attract MORE students, not fewer.

Advertising does work. It works very well, but bad advertising also works very poorly and wastes money and time. It can take a long time to learn how to craft good advertising, but it doesn’t have to. Our systems will absolutely cut years off the learning curve.

What Next?

So, what do you do about it? Well, first of all, stop believing any of the three myths that you’re still clinging to. Or better yet, you don’t even have to change your belief system, just stop using them as excuses.

I’d love to help you in this process. I’ve worked with all kinds of dance studios to help them apply the very simple strategies that they need to get their studios to the next level. I’d love to add you to this list.

But, I don’t work with everyone. I only work with the studios that I personally believe can actually do what it takes to make the changes necessary to build a successful program.

Do you have what it takes? I can help you decide that if you’ll share with me a little bit about your personal situation. What is your studio currently doing? What are your goals? How long do you want this to take?

I have set aside a limited number of hours each week to talk with studio owners that are tired of not making it and are ready for real change. Just click this button and tell me a little bit about your studio.

Tell Us About Your Studio

Then you should follow the instructions to schedule a free 30-minute strategy session with me, where I can show you specifically where the low-hanging fruit is, and how you can quickly reach it. I’ll spend this time with you, free of charge, to see if working together to grow your studio is a good fit.

What do you have to lose? (Except a lot of stress, disappointment in your business, and a lack of security?)

Whether now is the right time or not, I genuinely wish you all the best of luck in your own journey to reach your goals and dreams.
