I just got off the phone with a dance studio owner that has seen a drop in student enrollment every year for 5 years!

We talked briefly about her tuition rates and she proudly told me that she knew that her rates were about the national average because of her membership with an online association that was reporting this to their members.

My question is:

WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO BE AVERAGE?

Do you do that in any other part of your life or business?

Are you proud of your students because they are just average? Is that your standard? Are you trying to create students that are just average?

“Let’s all commit to no longer being average. Let’s raise the bar!”

Why would you apply the same standard to your business?

How about we follow the statistics that the successful studios are getting? Doesn’t that seem like a much better model?

IF YOU DO WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS DOING, YOU’RE GOING TO GET THE RESULTS THAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS GETTING!

Let’s all commit to no longer being average. Let’s raise the bar! (barre) Let’s all push the dance studio industry to the next level by setting a higher standard.

If you’re tired of running an average business, and want to take things to the next level, I’d love to talk to you about how I can help you to do that. Take a moment to let me know a little bit about your studio and your goals by filling out this form:

My team and I don’t work with everyone. In particular, I don’t work with people that are satisfied with being average. (Frankly, those people don’t need me.)

The Take Home Message

Ultimately, you shouldn’t be paying attention to the people (studios) that aren’t doing the things that you want to be doing. Average is no longer good enough.
