I just met with Andrew yesterday to catch up and make some plans for taking his studio to the next level.

(I’m especially excited to hear about his progress, in part because he was once an employee of mine.)

Andrew is an awesome example of what can happen when a good system is put in place and then scaled. He literally went from absolutely BROKE to taking home $96,000/year in less than six months with no staff and only about $200/month in marketing spend. He just trusted the system and it worked.

Now he’s ready for the next step. He’s getting ready to open a larger location and stop teaching all of the classes himself. We just went over the numbers and he’s set to DOUBLE his income again in the next six months.

He’s already charging $110 per month for ONE TIME PER WEEK lessons. He’s not getting enough push-back on his prices so we know it’s time to significantly raise them again.

Why was Andrew successful when so many other studios fail, or get stuck at a plateau and never make any real income?

“Studios that can’t keep up with what is working will be left behind.”

He doesn’t have any formal business training.
He isn’t tech savvy or a digital marketing wiz.
He doesn’t have any experience in sales.
He doesn’t live in some magical city where everyone “values the arts.”

Now, I don’t want to make it sound like Andrew didn’t put the work in. He’s absolutely responsible for his success, but the real key is following a system. A system that works TODAY.

You see, what was working as little as three years ago in this industry just isn’t working any more. In part because they’re OVER-SATURATED. There are too many people clamoring for attention on Facebook and Instagram. SEO for dance studios got killed by location targeting and the Google Maps results.

Studios that can’t keep up with what is working will be left behind.

Never has there been a time when things are changing as quickly as they are right now. I don’t see any indication of that slowing down.

It’s a part-time job just to keep up.

So, YOU shouldn’t.

That’s our job.

We spend a ton of time and money all year round testing what’s working and what’s not so that we have the stats to back it all up.

And, we don’t just make this info available to our clients. . . we apply it in our own programs as well. We actually practice EVERYTHING that we preach.

But, our ongoing consulting programs are a little different than some you might have encountered in the past. We only work with a very small number of studios every month.

This allows us to do two things.

1. Give real focused attention to each individual studio.

This isn’t some canned figure-it-all-out-on-your-own program. Every studio is different and every studio is at a different point in their development.

2. Prevent the techniques we teach from over-saturating the market.

Once “everyone” knows how we do what we do the techniques become less effective. By keeping the number of studios that we work with very small, we’re able to make sure these techniques will work well into the future.

 Sound intriguing?

Let’s chat and see if working together might make sense.
