Sounds like a silly question, right?

But, hear me out.

I'm convinced that there are actually people out there that would rather fail in their studio business AND HAVE A GOOD EXCUSE, than actually do the work it takes to grow their business.

VERY FEW of us got in to the dance studio business because we were entrepreneurs first and decided that opening a dance studio was the best business decision. (As a matter of fact, if you're like me, I thought I was destined to be BROKE for the rest of my life.) Most of us got in to this business because we were passionate about what we teach and wanted to have a positive impact on those around us.

Now I know better.

But it wasn't always this way.

There was a time when I was stressing out about being able to make the lease payment on my studio. There were times when I wasn't sure if I was going to make payroll. Back then I wasn't able to leave the studio without everything falling apart in my absence. Trust me, I know what that's like.

During those early years I realize now that I wasn't doing a lot of things correctly, but if I did anything right it was that I didn't allow excuses to get in the way of me believing that I could change things. I could make the studio more profitable. I could train my staff the right way. I just needed to learn how to do it.

Nobody was coming to save me. If things were going to get better IT WAS UP TO ME.

That's a hard pill to swallow. It's hard to admit that if your studio isn't going the way you want it to that it's your fault.

And guess what, most studio owners never admit that to themselves.

"Nobody was coming to save me. If things were going to get better IT WAS UP TO ME."

I know that because I talk with HUNDREDS of studio owners and they all have excuses as to why they are special, or why their city has too much competition and is over-saturated, or why they can't charge higher tuition rates, or why their student retention isn't great, or . . . you get the idea.

Here is the cold hard truth:

YOU CAN MAKE EXCUSES OR YOU CAN MAKE MONEY - YOU CAN'T MAKE BOTH!

I know, that truth isn't attractive.

"Okay," you might be thinking, "that's great, but I don't know WHAT to do."

Then, it's time to learn what to do.

Your quest to be a better business owner, to be a more educated and professional studio owner should NEVER END.

I've spent two decades running after that knowledge. I've seen marketing and advertising trends come and go. It's cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars (you read that right) to get this education and I'd like to help shave years and dollars off the learning curve for you.

Go check out my schedule and see if you can find a time to get together with me and spend 30 minutes or so talking about your studio, your goals, and what you'd like to accomplish.

In a very short time we can create a clear vision of what it's going to take for you to reach your goals. It is going to take some work to implement, but having that vision is half the battle.

I can't wait to talk to you and learn more about your studio.
